Ice Bath Sydney
Recently I took an ice bath for the first time, here in Sydney. The experience went quite quickly, with a 20 minute total session comprising of around 5 attempts to get in and stay into the freezing water.

Ice Bath Review – My First Experience
My experience with my first ice bath is that my trunk (my core such as hips, stomach and chest) was tightened noticeably, more than that of the pump seen after resistance training. This effect was instant and lasted most of the day and pert of the following day. My skin felt tight and I did feel energised.
The cold of the ice bath was challenging to immerse myself into initially and took a couple of attempts to go all the way in. Using Wimhoff breathing techniques, I eventually submersed myself completely into the ice bath.
The ice cold water chilled everything as I breathed to control my heart rate. It became so cold it almost felt like a burning sensation.
By the time I arrived home I became extremely hungry to the point of my hands almost shaking. I ate my lunch time meal plan and felt much better, now having plenty of energy to head to gym, followed by sauna.
I felt great throughout the day and slept well through the night.
As for growth and weight loss targets during my current slow cut phase, this will be updated once results are in.
